MOs Design turned 10 and marked the ocassion by welcoming the newest addition to its lineup, Sancal. The Spanish brand is known for furniture that expresses individual personality and for the rich collaboration with its impressive roster of recognised designers. SHOPNight of GratitudeWHERE: Makati Shangri-La, Manila Ballroom Century Properties Group celebrated its 30th anniversary recently with a Thanksgiving feast at the Rizal Ballroom. Chairman Jose (Joey) EB Antonio delivered a moving speech of sincere gratitude to all those who have supported the company and who were instrumental to its growth through the years. Established in 1986, Century Properties had humble beginnings with only six employees including Antonio and his father. The company weathered four economic cycles, an experience that he said contributed to Century’s resilience and passionate spirit. The banquet was highlighted by a 10-foot long cake with 100 candles—30 to celebrate Century’s three decades in the business, and 70 for Antonio’s birthday. SHOPLiberal ArtsWHERE: Bellas Artes Outpost, The Alley at Karrivin The Outpost by Bellas Artes Projects, a nonprofit exhibition space, opened with a solo exhibition by Mexico City based artist Carlos Amorales.
